ABOUT

Roy Ledgister

An inspiring entrepreneur and credible Barrister with over 26 years’ experience in practicing law, Roy’s journey to success commenced from childhood when he became fascinated with learning about how influential figures achieved greatness.

Initially fuelled by a hijacked cassette tape given to his mother, who was looking into Network Marketing for additional income, Roy dedicated many hours of his spare time sourcing and listening to sales and motivational tapes - including those from U.S. based motivational speakers - and from here established his own philosophy for ‘rules’ for success.

Being born into a black Caribbean family in West London, and raised by his single mother, Roy realised that he could channel what others would consider his disadvantage, into his ‘superpower’ and ensured that being a ‘minority’ in state school would serve as no impediment to his progression into the law and business world.

As a teenager Roy launched his own car washing business and soon saw the results of his own ‘success rules’ after generating his first income, whilst improving his grades on demand. At just 16, Roy secured a youth Great Britain athletics record and when finalising his studies in Law, went on to become the youngest Senior Law Partner at just 24 – all by maintaining his own process.

Roy has since advised or acted on behalf of a host of celebrities, political parties, and multi-billion-dollar international groups, carving out an impressive reputation in law, before expanding his experience into an advisory capacity for organisations in banking, media, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and property.

With substantial experience in working within Opco/Propco organisations, Roy was appointed Chairman of Caridon Group in 2015, where he was responsible for transforming a £50 million investment into £185 million worth of social housing assets within just four years.

During this time, Roy experienced first-hand the economic challenges in developing quality social housing and in 2017 was inspired to develop and launch Convivia, with a clear vision to revolutionise public housing through an inspirational property and tech portfolio that delivers experiential living and brings communities to life.

In summer 2021, Roy finalised a private equity investment deal worth hundreds of millions to bring Convivia to the forefront of the public housing sector and is now focused on driving true parity between the quality of public and private housing through his concept of ‘Convivial Housing’: being luxurious accommodation with cutting-edge technology and life-changing facilities to enhance personal development and physical well-being for all.

With the acquisition of numerous sites in progress, together with developments under construction throughout the country, the first Conviva site will be open to residents in autumn 2022.

Millionaire Mentor

Anyone can change their life by following a few simple steps to success, but very few of us are aware of our hidden potential or the fact that we have all the tools at our disposal to make this happen.

To prove this, Roy is searching for 15 candidates aged between 18 - 24 years from deprived backgrounds, who have the desire to turn their lives around by starting new businesses.

Roy is so confident that these individuals are better equipped to succeed than others with more fortunate backgrounds, that he will invest £1,000,000 of his own money settling up businesses with the final 5 candidates.
