Chris Kamara

Christopher "Kammy" Kamara is an English former professional football player and manager who works as a presenter and football analyst at Sky Sports.

Chris Kamara

Chris grew up in Middlesbrough and served in the Royal Navy before taking his first professional football position at Portsmouth FC in 1975. Chris’ 20 year footballing career took him to 11 sides, the highlight of which was being part of the 1989/90 Championship winning Leeds United team.

Chris has more recently become involved in footballing punditry on Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday with Jeff Stelling. Chris is perhaps is best known for his hard-hitting, often light-hearted analysis of Premier League action from the gantry, making him a household name.

Most recently, Chris has featured in the successful advertising campaigns for Greene King, Uber Eats, Subway and Ladbrokes. As well as being an Ambassador for Marie Curie Cancer Care, Chris became an Ambassador of the Special Olympics Great Britain and was also one of the runners of the Olympic torch in Doncaster.

Chris’ charisma and sense of humour is infectious; he’s known in the industry as a guy who works exceedingly hard and is always ready with a winning smile. Chris has also ITV’s Saturday night prime time show Ninja Warrior, The BBC’s One Show and most recently Channel 4s Packed Lunch.
