Bernadette set up her blog UnderTheGinfluence six years ago. Since then, her passion for spirits and writing has grown with knowledge, spread into other spirits and it is now her full-time career. She writes articles for Gin Magazine, Distiller Magazine, and Spirits Beacon, as well as content for Your Drink Box and The Gin Guide. She is also the editor of Rum’s the Word, a magazine which goes out with monthly subscription services Craft Rum Box & Spiced Rum Box.

Bernadette has built up five years experience in judging for events like Gin of the Year, World Gin Awards, Spirits Business Awards, Gin Guide Awards, IWSC and the American Distilling Institute Judging of Craft Spirits and works behind the scenes, assisting with organising and participating in panels for the Craft Distilling Expo. With her accumulated experience and understanding of production, recipes, branding and trends she is now working as a consultant on various projects with clients.

Bernadette can deliver informative and fun gin tasting sessions where she takes the audience on a journey of flavours using her expert knowledge. These sessions can be delivered in person or virtually online it’s a great team experience.
